Andrew Manning

Andrew Manning is an artist who is fascinated by juxtapositions of things that don't seem to fit together. His paintings of animals wandering in cities create a tension between subject and context that stems from his background of growing up in Jordan. He currently lives and works in Gloucester, MA, where he has shown at multiple venues including the Cultural Center at Rocky Neck, Charles Fine Arts Gallery, and Falcon's Nest Gallery at The Hive Center. He earned his BA in painting from Gordon College and was awarded a full-tuition scholarship to attend New York Academy of Art's Undergraduate Residency Program.
