Charlotte Roberts, a painter and printmaker who lives and works in Manchester-by-the Sea, will be exhibiting gouache and oil paintings at the Manchester Historical Museum, Manchester-by-the-Sea, during the months of March and April. Roberts graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art in design and painting. She studied at Massachusetts College of Art, Montserrat College of Art, and School of the Museum of Fine Arts. Charlotte Roberts is a member of North Shore Arts Association and Rockport Art Association. In June 2014, she was awarded the Herbert A. Murphy Award for outstanding landscape in watercolor from The Rockport Art Association. Roberts currently paints with Betty Lou Schlemm and the Cape Ann Watercolor Painters, draws with Paul Ciaramitaro’s Studio Class, and works with master printer Celia Eldridge at Graystone Studio in Gloucester, MA.
