Loren Doucette
Loren Doucette lives and works in Gloucester, MA. Over the last 15 years, Loren’s work has shown in many successful solo and group exhibitions on the North Shore where she is a member of the Rocky Neck Art Colony and the Experimental Art Group. She received a BFA in Drawing and Painting in Spring 2013 from Montserrat College of Art where she often teaches classes in Drawing and Painting. Loren’s work has been focused primarily on the Cape Ann landscape since her graduation, and over the past year, the figure and still life florals have reemerged in her work. Using acrylic, watercolor, pastel and collage- her interest lies at the intersection of realism and abstraction. Her work has been featured in the Boston Globe and Artscope. Most recently, her work was represented at the Flatrocks Gallery in Gloucester and Tusinski Gallery in Rockport. She currently works as the Operations Manager for the Rocky Neck Art Colony and welcomes people to view her work by appointment at Cripple Cove Studios on 97 East Main Street in Gloucester, Ma.
